“Goodbye chocolate crispy cakes!”

If your little one regularly shows you up in the kitchen then read on.

The Junior Master Chef competition gives young cooks an opportunity to really demonstrate what they can do. Entrants must devise a three course meal for two people using local and seasonal ingredients. There are great prizes on offer here and your little angel could win a day in Neven Maguires famous MacNean Restaurant (he was crowned ‘Best Chef & Best Celebrity Chef’ at The Irish Restaurant Awards 2009).

The winner will be the teachers pet too as their home economics teacher is awarded a weekend break at the Radisson for two nights plus dinner. We’re not finished yet as the family of the winner will receive a scrumptious hamper of goodies presented by the competitions sponsor, Connacht Gold. Phew!
