Hello and welcome to the SÓ Sligo Food Festival. Sligo has a wealth of incredible food, and some amazing food producers who live and create in this region. Our emphasis is very much on a family festival, so “Something for everyone” is very much the order of the day.
Só Sligo 2012’s line up includes the World Irish Stew professional chef and amateur competitions, Connacht Gold Junior Chef competition, a Sligo Signature Dish competition, food village, cookery demonstrations, talks,films, tastings, food trails, farm walks, street entertainment and kiddie activities. Great value and themed dine outs are available. Plenty for music fans with gigs being hosted in pubs, cafés, restaurants and hotels.
